| Urahara-san, I believe it's time for me to call on you for a favor.
I've no idea how familiar you are with her, but there is an Arrancar by the name of Nel. She was once a member of the Espada, but at some point, something was done to her that has caused her to revert to a child-like state. In this state, she befriended Kurosaki-kun during his assault on Hueco Mundo, and aided him and the others that went beside him. If you have been monitoring the Kounisshimou, you undoubtedly saw, or rather, heard her impassioned plea to be reunited with her friends.
I would like to extract her from Hueco Mundo and bring her to Seireitei. To do so would be a monumental undertaking, however, if it must be done stealthily, and then an even more difficult time will be had keeping her under wraps. Should you be able to aid us, Abarai-san in particular would appreciate everything you can to do help save this girl from possible death in the desert of the Hollows. If there's anything you need in return, or to help in this mission, please let me know.
And, one more thing, I would like to know who I have permission to inform of your aiding us. I don't want to overstep the boundaries of our little deal, of course, but it would help to make it known to at least a select few. | | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |
| Yadoumaru has been found and returned safely, as many of you already know. We've captured the primary perpetrators, as well as several accomplices. Investigation will continue to see to it that we get as many people responsible as we can. Anyone caught and found guilty of being a part of Yadoumaru's kidnapping will be facing expulsion from the Gotei 13 at the very least. Trials will commence soon.
The recent plague of zanpakutou troubles also appears to have come to an end. We're no closer than ever at determining why this happened, but by all reports, all Shinigami are no longer having difficulties communicating with their blades. | | comments: 4 comments or Leave a comment |
| We have a lead.
Earlier today, due to their careless words, two members of my division were apprehended. They were low-level members of the group that took Yadoumaru, and couldn't tell me the names of the ones ultimately responsible, but I did get the identities of some of their cohorts.

These individuals are to be apprehended and questioned immediately. As we've just got this break, I am canceling the plans to lock down Seireitei. This must be done quickly and efficiently, don't let any of them get a warning out to anyone else. We're close to ferreting out Yadoumaru's location and cannot afford to make the slightest mistakes.

| I've been contacted by Yadoumaru's kidnappers. A note has been delivered, copied here in its entirety (the original is on route to you now, Soi Fon):
The Vaizard have three days to leave Seireitei for good. She will be returned unharmed based entirely on your compliance.
Obviously, this isn't good. We must step up our efforts to locate Yadoumaru, at all costs. This is a top-priority issue and all other concerns can be considered suspended until she is found.
At this time, my contingency plan is to issue a total lockdown of Seireitei at midnight Tuesday, if we are unable to locate her. They will expect desperation on our part, however, and may have plans of their own to combat this. Time's running short, and if we want to see Yadoumaru alive again, we need some leads and fast.
[Addendum - Filtered to Captains]
Many reports are coming in now of strange activity with zanpakutou. Many Shinigami are unable to speak with their swords at all, and those that can (including myself) describe it as speaking with high amounts of interference. This is another pressing concern, and unprecedented in our history, but what to do about it is hazy. | Yesterday, at about 6:00pm, Eighth Division Vice-Captain Ise Nanao and Vaizard Yadoumaru Lisa were attacked in Rukongai, West Fifteenth District. Ise-fukutaichou was left unconscious on the scene, and Yadoumaru was captured and spirited to an unknown location. According to Ise-fukutaichou, there were five attackers, at least two of whom were Shinigami, and at least one of these two were of officer rank. This appears to have been a calculated attack on the Vaizard.
At this time, I am asking for a full report from every captain of any Shinigami that were not on active duty at that time or were otherwise accounted for. Any photos of these Shinigami that could be forwarded to Ise-fukutaichou for possible recognizing would also be appreciated. A general alert is not to be sounded, as there is no telling what would happen to Yadoumaru should her captors become desperate.
I will be organizing special patrol groups to scout Rukongai in search of Yadoumaru's reiatsu signature. These patrols will be in addition to normal scheduled ones. If any of you or your division members are familiar with Yadoumaru's reiatsu pattern, please volunteer to help in this.
